In light of recent scandals and contraversies in the Muslim community and the presence of #metoo circulating, a respectful dialogue is needed to help address the dynamics in our community that errode trust among Muslim men and women. This event will bring together students to engage in a facilitated dialogue with one another and with their faith about their hopes and concerns as relates to the topic.
Shaykh Mohammad Adeyinka Mendes, Imam of the Muslim Center of Greater Princeton, will join our Chaplain, Patricia Anton in exploring our understanding of gender and what it means for us spiritually, as women and men, in our time.
